News: Chargers QB Philip Rivers is excited about the arrival of WR Patrick Crayton, who was picked up in a trade with Dallas on Friday. “Patrick will be a good addition for us,” Rivers said. “Obviously he has played at a high level, a veteran player [who] adds another dimension to our receiving corps."
Analysis: While Crayton was buried on the depth chart in Dallas, he gets a chance to make a difference in San Diego, especially with Vincent Jackson prepared to hold out. Outside of Malcom Floyd and Antonio Gates, the Chargers need more threats in the receiving game. Crayton's biggest hurdle right now is learning the Chargers' offensive scheme. He might not be a good play heading into Week 1 at Kansas City, but Crayton might be worth stashing in deeper Fantasy formats as a potential sleeper option
